The Supporting Fatherhood Involvement (SFI) program directly addresses these challenges by equipping fathers with the tools and support necessary to reduce parenting stress, enhance co-parenting relationships, and increase father engagement, all of which contribute to positive child development. Through structured interventions—such as stress management workshops, peer support groups, and co-parenting communication training—the program fosters resilience among fathers and caregivers, particularly in families navigating acute disruptions, including divorce, separation, child welfare involvement, incarceration, and immigration-related separations. By mitigating these stressors and promoting healthy father involvement, SFI strengthens family dynamics and improves overall child and parental well-being.
